The Diploma of Leadership and Management is targeted to suit a wide range of careers and industries, giving students business-ready skills that can be applied to any workplace to become leaders and managers in their fields. Individuals at this level display initiative and judgement in planning, organising, implementing and monitoring their own workload and the workload of others. They use communication skills to support individuals and teams to meet organisational or enterprise requirements. They plan, design, apply and evaluate solutions to unpredictable problems, and identify, analyse and synthesise information from a variety of sources.
Students successfully completing the course will receive the BSB51918 – Diploma of Leadership of Management.
Once you have successfully completed the BSB51918 Diploma of Leadership and Management you can apply for jobs within various industries which may include:

Departmental manager
Warehouse manager
Operations manager
Senior manager
This qualification will be delivered at Kueen’s Institute Campus as follows:
Unit 6-7, 22-36 Mountain Street, Ultimo, NSW, 2007.
Students who complete this course may wish to continue their education into a range of higher education qualifications in business or management.
Assessment of previous training/experience, if relevant, will be made as part of the application process. Kueen’s Institute will review each student’s previous qualifications and/or skills and knowledge during the enrolment process to ensure that all students possess the characteristics to achieve the required rigour and depth of training and can meet all of the competency requirements in the current course time frame.

There are no pre-requisites for this qualification or any of the units of competency contained within it.
The course is provided through a face to face delivery mode with a period of self-study and assessments are conducted using written and practical assessments methods. While the course duration may vary from student to student it is suggested that this course will be delivered over a 42 tuition weeks + up to 10 weeks of holidays (maximum 52 weeks)

- This course is available to students who are able to provide evidence that they:
- have completed year 12 or equivalent
- are over the age of 18
- have the required level of Language, Learning and Numeracy skills required by the course determined completing a Kueen’s Institute Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) assessment conducted by a Kueen’s Institute Trainer/Assessor which includes a written test and interview to complete the verbal component of the test.

- be able to provide any of the following evidence of English Language competence
that they were educated for 5 years in an English-speaking country
that they have successfully completed their Year 12 or equivalent in English Language
Conditions of Entry:

Payment schedule:
Students may choose to pay fees upfront or in accordance with the following schedule:

o Prior to Term 2 (week 11) $3,000
o Prior to Term 3 (study week 21) $3,000
o Prior to Term 4 (study week 31) $3,000

Students will only be eligible to receive their qualification if fees have been paid in full and all course requirements have been met.

Students must attend 20 hours of classroom training per week as per attendance requirements for international students. Students will also be required to complete approximately 10 hours per week of personal study, including additional reading, activities and research as directed by the trainer/assessor.
