BSB60420 – The Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management reflects the role of individuals with significant experience in a senior administrative role who are seeking to further develop expertise as a leader and manager in their chosen field. Training Arrangements

Students must attend 20 hours of classroom training per week as per attendance requirements for international students. Students will also be required to complete approximately 10 hours per week of personal study, including additional reading, activities and research as directed by the trainer/assessor.

Selection Criteria

Assessment of previous training/experience, if relevant, will be made as part of the application process. Kueen’s Institute will review each student’s previous qualifications and/or skills and knowledge during the enrolment process to ensure that all students possess the characteristics to achieve the required rigour and depth of training and can meet all of the competency requirements in the current course time frame.

Career Outcomes

Graduates at this level will have broad knowledge and skills for paraprofessional/highly skilled work and/or further learning. Students who complete this course can expect to gain work as a Senior Administrator or Senior Manager within a range of industry areas.

Duration

The course is provided through a face to face delivery mode with a period of self-study and assessments are conducted using written and practical assessments methods. While the course duration may vary from student to student it is suggested that this course will be delivered over 60 tuition weeks + up to 14 weeks of holidays

Entry Requirements

Students are required to:

      • Be at least 18 years of age on commencement of the course
      • Have completed Year 12 (or equivalent) of secondary schooling

    And Either

      • Have completed a Diploma or Advanced Diploma from the BSB Training Package (current or
        superseded equivalent versions).

    OR

    • Have two years equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience in an operational or
      leadership role in an enterprise.

            • be able to provide documented evidence of one of the following:
              • A minimum two (2) years of study in English in Australia,
                Canada, New Zealand, Britain, America, South Africa, or
                Ireland.
              • Completed in Australia in English of at least 50% of a
                qualification at AQF level 4 or higher.
              • Successfully completed Year 12 in Australia in English.
              • Completed a recognised ELICOS program and achieved an
                English Proficiency level of upper intermediate or equivalent.
              • Have been assessed as having LLN skills at ACSF Level 3.

Payment schedule: 

Students may choose to pay fees upfront or in accordance with the following schedule: 

 

  1.  Prior to Term 1 (study week 1) $5,375 (first instalment + materials and enrolment fee)
  2.  Prior to Term 2 (week 11) $4,875
  3.  Prior to Term 3 (study week 21) $4,875
  4.  Prior to Term 4 (study week 31) $4,875

Students will only be eligible to receive their qualification if fees have been paid in full and all course requirements have been met.
