BSB61015 – Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management reflects the role of individuals with significant experience in a senior administrative role who are seeking to further develop expertise as a leader and manager in their chosen field. This qualification will be delivered at Kueen’s Institute Campus as follows: Unit 6-7, 22-36 Mountain Street, Ultimo, NSW, 2007.

Training Arrangements

Students must attend 20 hours of classroom training per week as per attendance requirements for international students. Students will also be required to complete approximately 10.5 hours per week of personal study, including additional reading, activities and research as directed by the trainer/assessor.

Selection Criteria

Assessment of previous training/experience, if relevant, will be made as part of the application process. Kueen’s Institute will review each student’s previous qualifications and/or skills and knowledge during the enrolment process to ensure that all students possess the characteristics to achieve the required rigour and depth of training and can meet all of the competency requirements in the current course time frame.

Career Outcomes

Graduates at this level will have broad knowledge and skills for paraprofessional/highly skilled work and/or further learning. Students who complete this course can expect to gain work as a Senior Administrator or Senior Manager within a range of industry areas.

Pre-requisites

There are no pre-requisites for this qualification or any of the units of competency contained within it.

Duration

The course is provided through a face to face delivery mode with a period of self-study and assessments are conducted using written and practical assessments methods. While the course duration may vary from student to student it is suggested that this course will be delivered over a 42 tuition weeks + up to 10 weeks of holidays (maximum 52 weeks)

Entry Requirements

    • This course is available to students who are able to provide evidence that they:
        • Enrol and complete the BSB51915 or BSB51918 Diploma of Leadership & Management with Kueen’s Institute within 3 years of commencing the Advanced Diploma 

      OR

        • Provide evidence of having completed their BSB51915 or BSB51918 Diploma of Leadership & Management with an Australian RTO in the last 3 years 

      OR

        • Provide evidence of having held a leadership/management position for at least the last 3 years in Australia. have completed year 12 or equivalent

      AND

      • are over the age of 18 
      • have the required level of Language, Learning and Numeracy skills required by the course determined completing a Kueen’s Institute Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) assessment conducted by a Kueen’s Institute Trainer/Assessor which includes a written test and interview to complete the verbal component of the test.
      • meet ONE of the following English proficiency requirements of this course
      1. evidence of holding any of the following English language test scores within the last 3 years
        International English Language Testing System (IELTS) 5.5
        TOEFL internet-based test 46
        Cambridge English: Advanced (Certificate in Advanced English) 162
        Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic) 42
        Occupational English Test B for each test component
        OR
      2. be able to provide any of the following evidence of English Language competence
        that they were educated for 5 years in an English-speaking country
        that they have successfully completed their Year 12 or equivalent in English Language

Course Fees

Total Course Fees: $12,500

Payment schedule: 

Students may choose to pay fees upfront or in accordance with the following schedule: 

 

  1.  Prior to Term 1 (study week 1) $3,500 (first instalment + materials and enrolment fee)
  2.  Prior to Term 2 (week 11) $3,000
  3.  Prior to Term 3 (study week 21) $3,000
  4.  Prior to Term 4 (study week 31) $3,000

Students will only be eligible to receive their qualification if fees have been paid in full and all course requirements have been met.
